The purpose of the Livestock Nutrient Management Program is to enhance the establishment of the most technically advanced best management practices (BMPs) relating to streamside livestock nutrient management; to assist in the continued development of education and training opportunities for short and long-term training needs of NRCS, SWCD and conservation partner personnel; to demonstrate cost effective BMPs for the prevention of livestock nutrient loading in streams.
