Testing of tissue and blood samples of poultry, for diseases which are reportable to the state veterinarian, may only be performed by laboratories approved by the state veterinarian. This includes testing for export purposes, when such diseases are reportable. Reportable diseases that are covered under this regulation include Avian Influenza(AI), Infectious Laryngotracheitis (ILT), Mycoplasma sp (MG/MS), Salmonella pullorum and Exotic Newcastle Disease.
