Rule 19-8-1.24 - Responsibilities of the Inspector - Department Forms(1) The inspector must use current department-approved forms for reporting inspections.(2) The department forms shall be filled out completely, and shall be used to report the inspections of existing equipment and final inspections of new or altered equipment.(3) The inspector must list all violations of the technical requirements by code number and code edition for each unit inspected, and include a written description of the violation on the department form. If the technical requirements refer to another code, the inspector must list both code numbers and include a written descript of the violation.(4) The inspector may not use the department equipment inspection form to report the results of an inspection to the owner of equipment that is exempt under this Regulation and for construction - use only elevators.Miss.
