Rule 18-23-3.3 - Responsibilities of the Hearing OfficerThe Hearing Officer carries the following responsibilities:
1. Adhering to the timelines imposed by Agency policy and State and Federal law;2. Establishing the time, place, and nature of the hearing and providing reasonable notice of such to the parties;3. Ordering and administering all pre-hearing procedures;4. Establishing the hearing procedure to be used;5. Managing the record and the case file; and,6. Rendering a timely decision.Miss.
