MDHS will comply with existing state and federal law regarding the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports process for general education students. Upon admittance to the MDHS/DYS facility, all general education students will participate in the Three Tier Model created and required by the Mississippi Department of Education. The Three Tier Model is designed to facilitate success for all students, including those students deemed as struggling or at risk of failing.
