In order to participate in the CCPP child care providers must comply with monitoring, both announced and unannounced from both the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) and the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH). Refusal to cooperate in the monitoring process may result in a financial penalty of $1,000 by MSDH for all providers. Additionally, refusal to allow monitoring inspections shall result in referral to MDHS the Office of the Inspector General, Division of Program Integrity (DPI) for further investigation and possible termination from the CCPP. Refusal to allow MDHS staff to view/inspect the program or program documentation as a part of announced or unannounced monitoring processes shall result in suspension, termination, and/or recoupment of all claims associated with the unproduced documents.
