Rule 18-14-34.2 - Replacement RestrictionsA. Households must timely report a loss orally or in writing to MDHS prior to the issuance of replacement benefits.B. A report is considered timely if it is made to MDHS within 10 days of the date food purchased with SNAP benefits is destroyed in a household misfortune.C. Replacement benefits will be provided in the amount of the loss to the household, up to a maximum of one month's benefit, unless the issuance includes restored benefits which will be replaced up to their full value.D.
