Rule 18-14-31.2 - Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)A. EBT cards will be issued by first class mail.B. The POS is connected to the EBT system to confirm the personal identification number (PIN) and the account balance.E. The EBT system communicates with the POS system and subtracts the amount of the sale from the household's account balance.F. The store will obtain reimbursement within two business days.G. There is no minimum purchase or transaction fees. H. Benefits can accumulate in the client's EBT account.I. The oldest SNAP benefits are used first.J.
