Rule 18-14-23.9 - MDHS ResponsibilitiesA. MDHS must clearly communicate the protocol DAA treatment centers must meet when making application on behalf of its residents.B. MDHS must also verify that the DAA treatment center meets the SNAP standards for certification prior to determining if any residents are eligible for SNAP benefits.C. MDHS must conduct random periodic on-site visits to the DAA treatment centers to ensure the accuracy of the monthly list and consistency with MDHS records.D. MDHS must ensure that the DAA treatment centers do not obtain more than one-half of the household's allotment prior to the 16th of the month or permit the return of benefits to the household's EBT account through a refund, transfer or other means.E. MDHS must effect the return of benefits if a resident departs and the center is unable to return the benefits as required in Rule 23.7 Responsibilities of DAA Treatment Centers When a Resident Departs.F.
