Rule 18-14-20.1 - GeneralA. Self-employment income is earned directly from a business or profession, rather than a specified salary or wages from an employer.B. Ownership of rental property is considered a self-employment business. Note: Income derived from the rental property will be considered earned income only if a member of the household is actively engaged in the management of the property at least an average of 20 hours a week.C.
