Rule 15-3-3-1.6.1

The Stroke triage and transfer guidelines are based on the concept of getting the right patient to the right hospital in the shortest period of time. In order to do this some hospitals may be completely bypassed, based on EMS guidelines or protocols, in favor of a more distant but more medically capable hospital.
