Rule 15-3-1-8.1.2 - Burn Program1. The burn center hospital must formally establish and maintain an organized burn program that is responsible for coordinating the care of burned patients. Compliance will be evidenced by, but not limited to: a. Governing authority and medical staff letter of commitment in the form of a resolution;b. Written policies and procedures and guidelines for care of the burn patient;c. Defined burn team and written roles and responsibilities;d. Appointed Burn Center Medical Director with a written job description;e. Appointed Burn Center Program Manager with a written job description;f.
