Rule 15-3-1-7.3.1 - General1. Primary pediatric trauma centers are facilities with a commitment to the initial resuscitation of the pediatric trauma patient and have written transfer protocols in place to assure those patients who require a higher level of care are appropriately transferred.2. All designated Trauma Centers shall, as a minimum, be designated as a Primary Pediatric Trauma Center as a condition of designation in the Mississippi Trauma Care System.3.
