Rule 15-3-1-1.5.2 - Establishment of a Region Board of Directors1. All Trauma Care Regions designated by the Department shall establish a Board of Directors, which shall be recognized as the lead administrative body of that Region. Board members shall be representative(s) of participating and designated trauma care centers, physicians, or any other person deemed appropriate by the Board. The Board shall have administrative authority over the operation of the Trauma Care Region and subsequent trauma system programs. 2. Trauma Care Region boards are authorized to receive funds and to expend funds as may be available for any necessary and proper trauma care program purposes in the manner provided for in these Regulations or in law.
