Rule 15-21-78-1.11.6 - Radiation Survey Instruments1. Radiation survey instruments used to determine exposure rates pursuant to this section shall be capable of measuring 1 microroentgen per hour through at least 500 microroentgens per hour.2. Radiation survey instruments used to make surveys required by this section shall be calibrated and operable.3. Each radiation survey instrument shall be calibrated:a. by person licensed by the Agency, another Agreement State, or the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to perform such service;b. at energies and radiation levels appropriate for the licensee's use;c. at intervals not to exceed six months and after each instrument servicing other than battery replacement; andd. to demonstrate an accuracy within plus or minus 20 percent of the true radiation level on each scale.4. Records of these calibrations shall be maintained for 3 years after the calibration date for inspection by the Agency.15 Miss. Code. R. 21-78-1.11.6
