Restricted certifications issued by the Bureau are non obtain a non-restricted waterworks operator certification, the operator shall attend a Bureau sponsored short course during the three (3) year restricted certification period. The operator must also pass the appropriate written examination at the level of classification of the water system. This requirement may be waived by the Director at his/her discretion.
