To provide electricity during an interruption of the normal electric supply that could affect the medical care, treatment and safety of the occupants, an emergency source of electricity shall be provided and connected to certain circuits for lighting and power. The source of the emergency electric service shall be an emergency generator, with a stand-by supply of fuel for 24 hours.
