Rule 15-12-32-1.2.15 - Change of Trauma Center DesignationTrauma Centers will be permitted to change their designation if the following conditions are met in their entirety:
1. The Trauma Center has been inspected and designated by the Department, the designation is current, and the Trauma Center is in full compliance with Department and Region rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols;2. The request to change designation has been approved by the applicable Trauma Care Region;3. The Department's Trauma Consultant has reviewed the request and determines that there is no adverse impact to the Region or Trauma Care System;4. The Mississippi Trauma Advisory Council (MTAC) has recommended approval of the request.5. The Department Trauma System Administrator (TSA) concurs with the request;6.
