Section 12-6-2.105.01 - Eligibility Requirements and Maintaining CertificationThe minimum procurement experience and training requirements are as follows:
(1) Certified Mississippi Purchasing Agent (CMPA) requirements: (a) New employees should register for first available class;(b) Successfully complete Mississippi Basic Purchasing Certification Program coursework; and(c) Pass the CMPA exam with a score of 70% or higher.(d) Recertify every five (5) years by following the same process as listed above.12 Miss.
