Section 11-8-2.5-53-53107 - Cessation of Operations: Permanent(a) Persons who cease surface mining activities permanently shall close, backfill or otherwise permanently reclaim all affected areas, in accordance with these regulations and the permit approved by the Permit Board.(b) All underground openings, equipment, structures or other facilities not required for monitoring, unless approved by the Permit Board as suitable for the post-mining land use or environmental monitoring, shall be removed and the affected land reclaimed.11 Miss.
