Section 11-8-2.4-39-3903 - Requirement to File a Certificate of Liability InsuranceEach applicant for a permit shall submit to the Department, as part of the permit application:
(a) a certificate issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in the United States certifying that the applicant has a public liability insurance policy in force for the surface coal mining and reclamation operations for which the permit is sought; the amount, duration, form, conditions and terms of this insurance shall conform to § 53-9-25(2) and § 4309; or(b) evidence that the applicant has satisfied other state or federal self-insurance requirements pursuant to § 53-9-25(2) and § 4309.11 Miss.
