Rule 10-501-2.1 - STATE DATA CLEARINGHOUSE

The SLDS Governing Board shall enter into a five-year memorandum of agreement with a third party to serve as the state data clearinghouse. The third-party contractor shall be a center of excellence and a research organization with a demonstrated track record of combining and extracting information from disparate large administrative data sets; creating, preserving, analyzing, and reporting on those data in a safe and secure manner; and building and sustaining partnerships with data contributors. The third party shall also be an organization with the knowledge and experience necessary to provide flexible, streamlined services and to design and implement best practices for data integration and data security. The organization must have experience with SLDS-type architecture and data modeling, and be qualified to provide all necessary technical resources aligned with the scope and objectives of the SLDS.
