After concluding the hearing and investigation, the panel must make an award that is in writing, is signed by a majority of the panel, and details the panels findings on the dispute and the panels decision.
The panel must simultaneously file with the commissioner and the parties the original findings and award must be filed according to part 5530.0800, subpart 9.
If the parties make a written agreement resolving the dispute before the panel files an award, they must notify the panel After being notified, the panel may not make an award.
