Part 4732.0505 - RADIATION SAFETY OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES The individual who is the radiation safety officer must:
A. establish a quality assurance program for compliance with the applicable requirements of this chapter;B. review the quality assurance program content and implementation at intervals not to exceed 12 months;C. ensure that instructions concerning hazards and safety practices are provided to individuals under the radiation safety officer's supervision who may be exposed to radiation;D. establish criteria for audits of the radiation safety program;E. perform or arrange to have performed: (4) equipment performance evaluations;(5) calibration of sensitometer and densitometer; and(6) review individual monitoring reports, if applicable;F. implement or arrange to implement other procedures as required by this chapter; andG. ensure documentation of initial and any additional instruction, equipment test results, calibrations, radiation surveys, equipment performance, and maintenance of the radiation-producing equipment and radiographic processors are maintained according to part 4732.0330.Minn.
