Section R. 390.1622 - Definitions; E, FRule 2. As used in these rules:
(a) "Eligible school" means a degree-granting college or university that is located in this state and that is approved by the state board of education and by the United States secretary of education for purposes of the federal family education loan program.(b) "Estimated financial aid" means the estimated amount of assistance for which the borrower may be eligible, excluding loans under section 428B(a) of the higher education act of 1965, as amended, 20 U.S.C. §1078-2, relating to parent loans, and subpart I of part D of title VII of the public health service act of 1944, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §294 et seq., relating to training in certain health professions.(c) "Forbearance" means a delay in the repayment of principal or principal and interest for a period of time as authorized by the authority.Mich.
