Section R. 432.11002 - Surveillance and board surveillance room specifications

Rule 1002.

(1) A casino must have rooms for recording and monitoring. The room for the exclusive use of the board and its designees shall be designated the "Board Surveillance Room." The room for the use of the surveillance employees of the gambling operation shall be designated the "Casino Surveillance Room." The casino security office must be separate from the casino surveillance room.
(2) Each surveillance room must be in compliance with the following provisions:
(a) Be located out of the general view of patrons.
(b) Have access limited to surveillance room personnel and persons with a legitimate need to enter the area.
(3) Subject to approval by the board, a casino licensee may install surveillance monitors in locations other than the surveillance room.
