Section R. 431.5040 - Penalties

Rule 5040.

(1) The executive director may issue a fine, suspend, or revoke a TPF license if any of the following occurs:

The TPF fails to comply with all federal, state, and local laws.

The TPF has knowingly provided false or misleading information to the executive director, withheld information required to be provided, or made material changes in the account wagering system without prior approval of the executive director.

The TPF has had a license denied, suspended, or revoked in another jurisdiction.

The TPF fails to comply with any conditions on the license imposed by the executive director.

The TPF poses a threat to the public interest or the integrity of racing or wagering in Michigan.

(2) A suspension or revocation of a TPF license may be appealed under the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.201 to 24.328.
