(1) Upon the written request of a party, the hearing officer or administrator may sign and issue a subpoena on a form prescribed by the department.(2) The responsibility for serving the subpoena, determining expert witness fees, paying witness fees, and enforcing the subpoena shall be solely that of the party who requests the subpoena.(3) To enforce a subpoena, a party on whose behalf it was issued may file a petition for an order requiring compliance in the circuit court for the county in which the hearing is scheduled to be held.Mich.
