Section R. 460.18801 - Annual reportsRule 801.
(1) Before April 30 of each year, or not later than 4 months after the close of its fiscal year, the department may require a motor carrier of household goods to file an annual financial report in a manner prescribed by the department. The report shall be prepared from the carrier's books, which shall be kept strictly in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The report shall cover the last preceding calendar or fiscal year of the carrier. One copy shall be filed with the department and 1 copy shall be retained by the carrier as part of its permanent records. The annual report shall be filed and verified by a responsible officer having control of the accounts of the carrier.(2) The annual financial report for a carrier holding both household goods and general commodity authorities shall also include the revenues and expenses generated by its general commodities operations.Mich.
