Section R. 338.10404 - Specialty certification qualifications; nurse anesthetistRule 404. A specialty certification for a nurse anesthetist shall be granted to a registered professional nurse who satisfies all of the following requirements:
(a) Holds a current and valid license to practice nursing in this state.(b) Submits an application for certification as a nurse anesthetist on a form provided by the department, with the required fee.(c) Possesses current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), or a successor organization.Mich.
