Rule 2d. If certification is denied, then the bureau of fire services shall notify the affected party and provide an explanation for the denial. Applicants may submit a written request to the state fire marshal for a review within 14 business days of the notification date. Decisions of the state fire marshal may be reviewed by the state fire safety board upon a request for the review by the affected party or parties.
