Section R. 400.1420 - Resident hygieneRule 20.
(1) A licensee shall afford a resident the opportunity for daily bathing.(2) A licensee shall afford a resident facilities for daily shaving.(3) A licensee shall afford a resident opportunities to obtain haircuts, hairsets, or other grooming processes.(4) A licensee shall afford a resident opportunities, and instruction when necessary, to dress as fashion and season warrant.(5) A licensee shall afford a resident who is capable, opportunities or instructions when necessary, to routinely launder clothing. Clean clothing shall be available at all times.(6) A licensee shall afford a resident the opportunity to receive assistance in bathing, dressing, or personal hygiene from a member of the same sex, unless otherwise stated in the home's admission policy and written resident care agreement.Mich.
