(1) The drive on a mechanical feed rack or tray-type cooler shall be equipped with an overload device designed to cut the power in case of a jam. The device shall not restart the drive automatically when the jam is cleared.(2) A mechanical feed rack and tray cooler shall actuate a warning device when it enters a dwell condition caused by the backup of production at a unit downstream.(3) A cooler having an access door for body entry shall be equipped with a means for opening the door from the inside and the outside.Mich.
