(1) Wireline wipers shall be secured to prevent displacement.(2) Oil savers shall be adjusted only by remote control while the wireline is in motion.(3) Except for an employee of the wireline service company, an employee shall not be permitted closer than 6 feet to a moving wireline when working between the wireline unit and the well.(4) The wireline valve, sometimes called a wireline blowout preventer, shall be visually inspected during opening and closing each time it is installed on a well. It shall be pressure tested monthly in full closed position to the rated working pressure of the valve.Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.15751
