Section R. 408.11923 - Rating chartsRule 1923.
(1) A legible rating chart shall be provided at the operator station showing not less than the following information for crawler, locomotive, or truck cranes: (a) Load capacity relating to corresponding boom angles and operating radii for all boom lengths, jib lengths, and angles. Where optional equipment, such as outriggers or extra counterweights, is provided by the manufacturer, alternate ratings shall be provided in addition.(b) Where structural competence limits the ratings, such information shall be shown on the chart.(2) The required parts of line for hoist reeving, including the size and construction of rope, shall be on the rating chart or in the operating manual.Mich.
