(1) Grant-eligible activities for new wells include all of the following: (a) Completion of a delineation for a new well or well field, exclusive of the cost incurred to conduct an aquifer test that is a requirement of the public water supply program for the construction of new wells.(b) The development and implementation of a wellhead protection program for a new well or well field.(c) Incorporation of a new well or well field into an existing wellhead protection program.(2) Grant-eligible activities for new surface water intakes include both of the following: (a) The development and implementation of a surface water intake protection program for a new intake.(b) Incorporation of a new intake into an existing surface water intake protection program.Mich.
