Section R. 336.2104 - Continuous emission monitoring; coal-fired electric generating units at a power plantRule 1104. Unless the federal MATS is an applicable requirement, an affected EGU shall meet both of the following requirements:
(a) Except as provided in R 336.2160, a unit that serves a generator with a nameplate capacity of more than 25 megawatts producing electricity for sale shall install, calibrate, maintain, and operate a continuous monitoring system or a sorbent trap monitoring system for the measurement of mercury.(b) The owner or operator of any source subject to the provisions of subdivision (a) of this rule shall complete the installation and performance tests of the equipment required by subdivision (a) of this rule and shall begin monitoring and recording by April 16, 2015.Mich.
