Section 31.03.17.04 - Permit RequirementsA. Before an employee of the Consolidated Services Center may provide the services set forth in Insurance Article, § 31-112(c)(1), Annotated Code of Maryland, the person shall obtain a permit issued by the Commissioner.B. To qualify for a permit, an applicant shall:(1) Be at least 18 years of age;(2) Successfully complete the training program;(3) Complete and pass both sections of the examination;(4) Submit an application and any additional information the Commissioner deems necessary to the Administration;(5) Pay to the Administration initial permit and application fees if permitted by law;(6) Be of good character and trustworthy;(7) Not have committed any act the Commissioner finds would warrant suspension or revocation of a permit under Insurance Article, § 31-113.1(b)(4), Annotated Code of Maryland; and(8) Be engaged by the Consolidated Services Center and receive compensation only through the Consolidated Services Center.Md.
