Section 26.07.02.04 - ExaminationA. The Board shall offer written examinations at least three times a year.B. The examination shall be standardized and prepared by a recognized examination service.C. The passing score for the examination is 70 percent.D. An applicant who has not previously taken the written examination is permitted to sit for an examination if the applicant has: (1) Met the education and experience requirements set forth in COMAR 26.07.01.03;(2) Submitted an application for examination to the Board at least 21 days before the examination date; and(3) Paid an examination fee as established by Regulation .09E of this chapter.E. Except as provided in §F of this regulation, an applicant who fails the examination may apply for reexamination if the applicant submits an application in accordance with §D(2) and (3) of this regulation.F. An applicant who has failed the examination three times is not permitted to sit for reexamination unless the applicant has:(1) Completed additional training in accordance with a plan approved by the Board; and(2) Submitted an application for examination in accordance with §D(2) and (3) of this regulation.Md.
