Section 26.04.01.17 - Approved LaboratoriesA. For the purpose of determining compliance with this chapter, samples may be considered only if they have been analyzed by a laboratory approved by the Approving Authority, except that measurements for alkalinity, calcium, conductivity, orthophosphate, silica, turbidity, temperature, pH, and disinfectant residual may be performed by any person acceptable to the Approving Authority.B. The Approving Authority may consider reciprocity of approval with other states when the Environmental Protection Agency has certified laboratories acceptable to the Approving Authority, or when those states certify laboratories according to established Environmental Protection Agency criteria. These labs shall apply to the Approving Authority for certification.Md. Code Regs. 26.04.01.17
