Section 12.02.06.07 - Establishing a Diminution of Confinement RecordA. The Commissioner shall maintain a system for administering the diminution of confinement for each inmate.B. A diminution of confinement record shall: (1) Be established on the date that an inmate is received into the custody of the Commissioner;(2) Contain entries reflecting all diminution credits awarded, revoked, or restored; and(3) Reflect a current and accurate record of diminution credit affecting an inmate's term of confinement.C. The Commissioner shall ensure that staff responsible for maintaining the diminution of confinement record are notified within 5 days of:(1) The date of an inmate's assignment to and subsequent removal from: (b) An education program; or(2) Revocation of an inmate's good conduct or special projects credit, or both; and(3) The warden's approval to restore an inmate's revoked diminution credit.Md.
