Section 10.54.01.06 - Residency Eligibility Determination ProcessA. In order to be eligible for WIC benefits, an applicant shall provide to a local agency documentation of Maryland residency, or residency in a state having a reciprocal residency agreement with Maryland.B. Documentation. In order to document residency, an applicant shall provide to the local agency one of the following: (1) Dated correspondence documenting the applicant's home address; (2) Shall appear in person at a local agency clinic during normal WIC clinic office hours in order to present documentation of date of birth and identity for the application for benefits;(3) Shall be determined by the local agency to be income eligible pursuant to the specifications set forth in Regulation .07 of this chapter;(4) Shall be at nutritional risk pursuant to the specifications set forth in Regulation .08 of this chapter; andC. Recording of Residency Documentation. A local agency shall document proof of residency.Md. Code Regs. 10.54.01.06
