Section 10.14.03.01 - Definitions

A. The following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

(1) "Department" means the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

(2) "Diagnosis" means a histopathologic finding of breast cancer in a biopsy specimen.

(3) "Treating physician" means an individual authorized under the Medical Practice Act to practice medicine in Maryland who, in Maryland, treats a patient for breast cancer.
