Section 08.02.15.01 - ScopeA. Except in accordance with COMAR 08.02.05, 08.02.11, 08.02.14, and this chapter, it is illegal for a person to take, possess, transport, export, process, sell, offer for sale, or ship any striped bass (Morone saxatilis), including striped bass taken in the State's Territorial Sea and the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), as defined by the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, 16 U.S.C. Ch. 38 §§ 1801 et seq., and which extends from 0 to 200 nautical miles from the coastline of the United States.B. For purposes of this chapter, a hybrid of striped bass is deemed to be of the species striped bass.Md. Code Regs. 08.02.15.01
