Section 590-280-1 - Definitions

A.MHDO. "MHDO" means the Maine Health Data Organization or its predecessor agencies.

B.M.R.S.A. "M.R.S.A." means Maine Revised Statutes Annotated.

C.Prescriber. "Prescriber" means a person who is licensed, registered or otherwise authorized in the appropriate jurisdiction to prescribe and administer drugs in the course of professional practice, including but not limited to nurse practitioners and nurse midwives; dentists; allopathic and osteopathic physicians; naturopathic doctors; optometrists; physician's assistants; podiatrists and veterinarians.
