Subsection 222-1-160-03 - APPEALS AND HEARING PROCESS1. A licensee who wishes to contest a suspension or revocation must request a hearing pursuant to Title 5 MRSA, Chapter 375. This request must be made in writing within thirty (30) days of the date of the suspension or revocation and must be sent to the Maine State Police Inspection Unit. The suspension or revocation shall remain in effect pending hearing or appeal. The date of receipt of such request at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Unit office shall be used to determine compliance with this requirement.2.
