Section 472-3-2 - DefinitionsA.Case management services means services defined in the MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Section 13.12.B.In-home behavioral health services means services defined in the MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Sections 65.04-3(H) and 24.01-2.C.Start date means the later of the following two points in time:1. the date of a request for screening services by or on behalf of the child or child's family. This "request" means a request for a behavioral health screen, a request for assistance in identifying behavioral health needs, or a request for a behavioral health service for a child under the age of twenty-one, if the request is made to a Department-approved agency that is a participating provider of MaineCare covered case management or in-home behavioral health services to children; or2. the date upon which financial eligibility under MaineCare is determined. This is normally the date of the MaineCare eligibility letter to the member informing him/her of eligibility provided but in no event shall this date be later than forty-five days after the date that a completed application is received by the Department of Human Services in accordance with Federal regulations.
