Section 148-10-6 - Notice to Parent (s)A. Immediately upon receipt by the Department of a referral for services, information will be sought on the whereabouts of the parents.B. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the parent(s) by phone and/or at the place where the parent(s) may be found. C. Contact with parent(s) may be delayed if available information indicates the safety of the child or other persons would be jeopardized by the parent(s)' or child's subsequent action.D.
