Section 144-51-2.0 - Intent2.1 The various bureaus and divisions of the Department purchase a wide array of services from community based providers. It is intended that the principles and procedures outlined herein shall be utilized by all bureaus and divisions when requesting proposals to purchase services.2.2 The Department reserves the right to renew grants/contracts with existing service providers when (1) the health and safety of clients is at risk, (2) continuity of service to current clients is integral to obtaining client objectives or (3) Federal rules and regulations supersede these policies.10-144 C.M.R. ch. 51, § 2.0
