If the licensee refuses to comply with an imminent health hazard notice, the Department may take further action, including immediately suspending a license temporarily and without court proceedings, in accordance with 5 MRS §10004. When the Department implements this action, the license will be suspended for seven days. If the licensee continues to refuse to comply with an imminent health hazard after the seven-day suspension, the Department will temporarily suspend the license for 30 days.
